These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of TenFortyCat (the "Service"), a Google Sheets add-on operated by TenFortyCat ("we", "us"). By installing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
The Service is currently in beta. It is provided without any uptime guarantee or service level agreement. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of material changes.
You must be at least 18 years old and have a valid Google account to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.
TenFortyCat is a categorization and labeling tool. It takes bank transaction description strings you provide and suggests IRS Schedule C categories based on AI analysis. It is not a financial product, tax preparation service, or accounting software.
Category suggestions are generated by AI and are provided "as is." We make no warranty, express or implied, that:
You are solely responsible for reviewing all suggestions and determining the appropriate tax category for each transaction before including it in any tax filing.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TenFortyCat shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to: tax penalties, audit costs, interest charges, or any IRS or state tax authority assessments.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (which may be $0 during the beta period).
The Service, including the classification engine, AI models, and software, is owned by TenFortyCat. You retain ownership of the transaction data you provide. You grant us a limited license to process that data solely to provide the Service.
You may stop using the Service at any time by disconnecting from the add-on menu. We may suspend or terminate access to the Service at our discretion, with or without notice, for any reason including violation of these Terms.
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be noted with an updated effective date above. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
